 Shopping in Georgia is divers and interesting. Everyone can find here something interesting for himself. Asian style food markets are still alive in Georgia. You can find them in big cities as well as in the small townships. Some of them are really of Special interest, like Kabali market in Kakheti Region (Lagodekhi district near Azerbaijan border), which is one of the oldest and biggest markets and is also known as an animal market.

Big ugricultural markets you can visit in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Telavi, Gori and in other big cities. In Tbilisi there is also huge Lilo Market, which was established as a cheap clothes market but during the time transformed into the biggest markets of Georgia, where you can find all types of goods.

Another interesting shopping place is flee market in Tbilisi, where you can find the goods from Soviet time and not only, which the people are selling form home.

Beside markets you can find numerous small boutique shops for Georgian wine, cheese and other local product and also suveneurs. These are available mainly in the big cities.

After deconstruction of Soviet Union, fashion industry started fast development in Georgia. It happened thanks to the Tbilisi Fashion Week and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi. These events pushed talented designers of the new generation to establish their own successful brands like More is Love, Materiel, Dots, George Keburia, Store N 12, Anouki, Dalood, George Shaghashvili, Chubika, Samoseli Pirveli and so on.

During the last years a lot of shopping malls are build especially in Tbilisi and Batumi wher you can find shops of local designer and also low and middle range international brand.
