We also visit home town of Stalin – Gori and cave towns Uplistsikhe and Vardzia, spa town Borjomi, which is famous of its unique mineral waters. Will have possibility to enjoy with beautiful medieval castle – Rabati in Akhaltsikhe. You will also visit two oldest cities of the world – Mtskheta and Kutaisi. Both have more than 3000 years of history and both were capitals cities of the country in different historical periods. After border crossing to Armenia you will have possibility to visit most popular sightseeing of Armenia. Visit one of the ancient settlements of the Northern Armenia - Gyumri which is a city that has a history of over 3,000 years, visit Vatican City of Armenia- Holy Echmiadzin with its world’s earliest Christian churches included in the list of UNESCO Sites, another UNESCO site - the Ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral. You will have the possibility to make Armenian Traditional bread “lavash” in Garni willage. Vsit the top destinations in the capital city of Armenia – Erevan. Visit Sevan lake and Spa town Dilijan. After border crossing you will have one more day for Georgia and for its capital city – Tbilisi. You can admire beautiful places of the old Tbilisi before you departure.

Itinerary: 

Day 1 - Arrival to Tbilisi

Day 2 – Tbilisi - Mtskheta (old capital of Georgia, UNESCO sight)  - Ananuri Fortress (XVII C) - Zhinvali lake - Gudauri (Ski resort in the Great Caucasus) (140 km)

Day 3 – Gudauri – Sno-Juta -  Kazbegi (mountain region of Georgia), Holy trinity church – Dariali gorge (near Russian border) – Gudauri (130 km)

Day 4 – Gudauri - Gori (Home town of Stalin) – Uplistsikhe (cave town from the VI C BC) - Kutaisi (The second biggest city of Georgia and former capital city) - Tskaltubo (spa town near Kutaisi) (360 km) 

Day 5 – Tskaltubo – Natural caves of Prometheus  - Gelati Monastery (XII C UNESCO) -  Mineral waters park in Borjomi  - Akhaltsikhe (210 km)

Day 6– Rabati fortress in Akhaltsikhe  –  Vardzia (cave town from the XII C)  - Bavra (Border of Georgia-Armenia) – Gyumri (470 km)

Day 7 – Gyumri - Holy Echmiadzin (UNESCO site) - Echmiadzin Mother Cathedral (301-303 A.D) - Museum of Echmiadzin - Zvartnots Cathedral (UNESCO site) – Erevan (145 km)

Day 8 – Erevan - Geghard Monastery (UNESCO site) - Garni Village, Garni Pagan Temple (77 A.D.) - Tsitsernakaberd-Memorial Complex – Erevan (85 km)

Day 9 – Erevan - Khor Virap - Noravank monastery (XIII C) - Areni village – Sevan (275 km)

Day 10 – Sevan – Dilijan (Spa town) – Sadakhlo (Georgia-Armenia border) – Tbilisi (250 km)

Day 11 - Tbilisi city tour -Old town of Tbilisi – Metekhi church and Metekhi plateau -Bath’s district - Kote Abkhazi street and pedestrian area of the city. Sioni Cathedral and the oldest church of Tbilisi – Anchiskhati - Freedom square and Rustaveli Avenue – State museum –  Dinner at the Georgian Traditional restaurant with Georgian dances and folk songs - Transfer to the airport. (50 km driven)
